The SBA is a Trade Association representing manufacturers of Sterile Barrier Systems. It was founded over 30 years ago (1992) and most of the founding members are still members today.

The Sterile Barrier Association (SBA) is the European trade association for manufacturers and suppliers of sterile barrier systems (SBS) materials, preformed SBS and related services, equipment and accessories, as well as companies who produce SBS for the healthcare industry. Our members and affiliates are committed to ensuring that, in partnership with their customers, they continually develop and improve products and services essential for “protecting the patient,” the SBA’s primary objective.
