Mary Ann has led the clinical affairs team at Healthmark, A Getinge company since 2019. She has been in the role of medical device infection prevention and healthcare education since 2009. Prior to her role in medical devices, she taught microbiology in universities and managed pharmaceutical microbiology labs. Mary Ann is heavily involved in US standards organisations, such as AAMI and ASTM. Within the SBA she is part of the regulatory committee and was elected to the board of directors in 2025.
She is married with three children and enjoys gardening, traveling, and walking her 3 dogs.
